Speakin' Weird is dedicating their monthly spoken word event to Scottish writers of colour in July. On Wednesday 15th of July at 8 pm, the performance open mic night will be held virtually over Zoom and hosted by Nasim Rebecca Asl. The headliner this month will be Nadine Aisha Jassat and there are 15 open mic performance slots open to Scottish writers of colour.
To perform at the event either direct message Speakin' Weird or comment on the event page stating so. If you do wish to perform then you can recite two poems or 5 minutes of prose, storytelling, comedy or music.
